A chauffeur house named for a principle.
Ikenga Transport Inc is a private ground-transportation house based in Dallas. We run a short fleet, a closed dispatch, and chauffeurs who treat the cabin as a room — not a vehicle.
The name
What Ikenga means.
Among the Igbo of southeastern Nigeria, Ikenga is the personal shrine of achievement — often carved as a seated figure with two ram horns and a blade in the right hand. The horns are determination. The right hand is the hand that does the work.
We did not borrow the word as decoration. The house is built on the same wager: that a life, and a journey, is made by what you decide and then carry through. To be received well is not vanity. It is how you honor the room you are entering, and the people waiting in it.
Dallas–Fort Worth is the territory. The work is getting you from one door to another without noise, delay, or the feeling that anyone improvised.
The right hand
Ikenga, in Igbo thought, is the personal force of achievement — the right hand that makes a life. We named the house for that idea. A ride is not a transaction. It is how you enter a room.
Silence is a feature
Chauffeurs are trained to read the cabin. Conversation when it is wanted. None when it is not. Phones on silent. Doors opened from the correct side. Names remembered once.
The time is the time
We do not pad, and we do not gamble. Flight tracking, live traffic, and a dispatcher who will call you before you have to call us. If we are early, we wait. If the plane is late, so is the car — on us.
How we run
A short fleet on purpose.
We do not operate a hundred cars. Nine vehicles, kept in black, detailed between every assignment. Chauffeurs are employed, not pooled from an app. Dispatch is a person with a name. If we cannot take a trip to our standard, we say so — we do not send a substitute in a different color.
